Stay In School (SIS) Project is a child education support initiative designed by Circuit Pointe, a Non-Governmental youth-led Organization in Imo State, Nigeria. The project is aimed at enrolling or re-enrolling Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) in rural communities who have never been to school or dropped out of school due to financial constraints. We are working to make sure every child goes to school especially children from poor socio-economic backgrounds, who otherwise will not have the opportunity to go to school or finish their education.
SIS Project was launched after concluded the pilot in 2017. Supported by OneWorld Foundation, Circuit Pointe built partnership with St. Paul's Primary School Ezeihe and Community Primary School Dikenaofeiyi in Isiala Mbano LGA of Imo State to conduct a scholarship scheme in Dikenaofeiyi Community. We worked closely with the Head Mistress of St. Paul's Primary School Ezeihe, Reverend Sister Amarachi Ojini and the Head Mistress of Community Primary School Dikenaofeiyi, Mrs Getrude Ekeanywanwu which benefited 15 indigenous children who were either orphans or had disabled parents and have never been to school or dropped out due to financial constraints.
Enrolled in St. Paul's Primary School Ezeihe and Community Primary School Dikenaofeiyi, we are soliciting funds to pay the tuition of these 15 scholarship awardees. Your donations will also cater for children in other rural communities experiencing similar issues.
